Problem
A foundation like Hermanos de la Calle requires constant funding to be sustainable. An effort that started with delivering food and helping people in the streets today has already 3 houses where the homeless stay for 2 to 3 months to regain their confidence, find out what they’re good at, get a job and start again. These actions come with expenses, and as of now the money has come after special events where we get funding. The problem is that it is occasional and not enough.
The other problem is that there are plenty of foundations asking for money and we want to help people that are usually overlooked even by their own community.
